Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Reno Elite Roofing collects when you use this website or submit a request, how that information is used, who it is shared with, and what control you have over it. Reno Elite Roofing is a referral and matching service for roofing help in the Reno/Sparks area — not a roofing contractor. We do not perform roofing work of any kind. We connect homeowners with independent, licensed Nevada roofing companies who do the actual work.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to answer your request:

Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address (optional), property location, what's going on with your roof, roof type if known, and anything you write in the notes field of a request form.
Consent records. The exact consent text shown to you at the time of submission, together with a timestamp.
Call information. Once a tracked phone number is published on this site, calling that number will generate the calling number, time, and duration of the call, and — where call recording is enabled — a recording or transcript. See section 8.
Technical and usage information. Standard web analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and the site or search engine that referred you. See section 5.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, or financial account details through this website, and you should not send them to us.

2. How we use your information

To pass your request to an independent, licensed Nevada roofing company that serves your area, so they can contact you about your project.
To contact you ourselves about the request you submitted — by phone, email, or SMS where you have opted in.
To keep a record of your consent and of the request, for compliance and dispute-resolution purposes.
To understand how the site is used in aggregate and improve the research published on it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with data brokers or lead marketplaces.

3. SMS opt-in and text messaging

If you tick the consent checkbox on a request form, you agree to receive text messages from Reno Elite Roofing and the independent roofing company matched to your request about the request you submitted. Specifically:

Who sends the messages. Reno Elite Roofing, and the independent roofing company matched to your request if named at the time you submit it.
What they contain. Messages relating to your roofing request — confirming details, arranging a call, and following up.
How often. Message frequency varies and depends on your request and your replies.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Reno Elite Roofing does not charge you for messages; your mobile carrier may.
Stopping. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
It is never required. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of submitting a request, of being matched with a roofing company, or of any purchase.

The phone number you provide and the record of your SMS consent are stored in our customer relationship management system and used only for the purposes described in this section and in section 2.

4. Who we share information with — and what we never share

Your SMS opt-in data — your consent to receive text messages, and the phone number associated with it — is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes, and is never shared with data brokers, lead marketplaces, or affiliates. No third party receives your mobile opt-in consent for its own marketing use under any circumstances.

Because this is a referral service, fulfilling your request necessarily means passing it to someone who can carry out the work. That sharing is limited and purpose-bound:

The independent roofing company matched to your request. Your name, phone number, email address if given, property location, and project description are shared only with the specific independent, licensed Nevada roofing company needed to fulfill the request you submitted. This is fulfillment of your request, not marketing.
Service providers that operate this site. Hosting, form processing, customer relationship management, telephony, and analytics providers process data on our behalf under contract and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Where the law requires it. To comply with a lawful request, court order, or applicable law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Reno Elite Roofing, our users, or the public.

If your request is later matched to a different provider from the one named at the time you submitted it, we will obtain fresh consent naming that provider before it sends you any automated marketing message.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. It does not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising trackers.

Strictly necessary. Used to deliver the site and keep form submissions working. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure how many people visit, which pages they read, and which sites, search engines, or AI assistants referred them. This data is used in aggregate.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal are respected where applicable law requires it. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use this site or submit a request.

6. Data security

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections. Request data is held in access-controlled systems operated by established service providers, with access limited to those who need it to respond to your request. Retention is limited to what is needed for the purposes in section 2 and for compliance record-keeping.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through the forms on this site.

7. Your rights and choices

Access. Ask what personal information we hold about you.
Correction. Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
Deletion. Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep — consent records in particular.
Opt out of SMS. Reply STOP to any text message, at any time.
Opt out of email. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or ask us directly.
No sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — this is our practice, not merely a statement of intent.
No discrimination. Exercising any of these rights will not change how your request is handled.

Once your details have been passed to an independent roofing company, that company holds its own copy and its own privacy practices apply to it. To have that copy deleted, contact the company directly — we can tell you which company received your request.

To exercise any of these rights, get in touch through the contact page and say what you would like done.

8. Call tracking and call recording

A phone number has not yet gone live on this site as of this policy's effective date. Once one does, this section describes how call tracking and recording work: phone numbers published here may be tracked, meaning we can see the calling number, the time and duration of the call, and which page you called from. Calls may also be recorded or transcribed for quality and record-keeping purposes.

Nevada requires the consent of all parties to a call before it may be recorded (NRS 200.620, as applied by Nevada courts, including Lane v. Allstate Insurance Co.) — not just one party. If call recording is enabled on the tracked number, it will be preceded by an audible disclosure at the start of the call stating that the call may be recorded; continuing the call after that disclosure constitutes consent. If you would prefer not to be recorded, use the form on the contact page instead of calling, or say so at the start of the call.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and requests may only be submitted by people aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and it will be deleted.

10. Third-party links

Pages on this site link to outside resources — the Nevada State Contractors Board, City of Reno, City of Sparks, Washoe County, and published cost sources among them. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply to them.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated to affected users where we have a way to reach them.

12. Contact

Privacy questions and requests: use the contact page and mark your message as a privacy request. This policy is published by Reno Elite Roofing, serving Reno and Sparks, Nevada. No formal legal entity had been registered for this business as of this policy's effective date; this page will be updated with the registered entity name once formed.
